We offer engine tuning for the KTM 890 engine.
Our engine tuning offers for the KTM 790 & 890 engines can be put together individually to meet your needs. Depending on the component or kit, we show the influence on the service intervals. All offered parts and/or changes have been tested by us for functionality and performance on the test bench and on the racetrack.
Speedbox dry clutch kit for KTM 890 engines, KTM Duke, RC8C, Krämer GP2
The Speedbox dry clutch is an in-house development using the Suter anti-hopping function.
The main advantages of the dry clutch are:
- No impurities in the oil, which is very beneficial for all plain bearings in the engine
- Reduced oil temperature
- Performance gain of about 2 hp using low-friction engine oil.
- Perfect anti-hopping function, adjustable via separate anti-hopping pressure spring and ramp angle inserts (Suter patent)
The kit includes all components for a "plug and play" installation.
Optional for the KTM Duke Carbon cover
This clutch requires more maintenance than the standard wet clutch
Please note that it is a pure racing part, which is not street legal.
Speedbox Racing inlet camshaft Stage I for all KTM 890 engines
Due to longer opening times, the Stage I enables more filling in the upper speed range. In terms of performance, it constantly pulls away from the standard camshaft above 7500 rpm and brings an increase of up to 7 hp of top end power.
The Speedbox Stage 1 inlet camshaft replaces the standard shaft,no additional adjustments are necessary.
The durability of the engine is not affected by the installation of the Speedbox Stage I intake camshaft. The intake shaft comes with a matching engine breather turbine wheel.
The ideal valvetiming is preset thefore ,ounting is plug and play.
Due to the adjustabel sproket experienced tuners have teh possability to adjust valve timing.

The Speedbox velocity stacks are designed for use with the Stage 1 intake camshaft.
They prevent the slight loss of performance of 2hp which the Stage 1 shaft generates in the speed range of 4000-6500 rpm.

Speedbox racing alternator super light for all KTM 790 & 890 engines
Super light inside runner alternator, -2.3Kg flywheel mass. Due to the smaller alternator and the performance-optimized controller in MOSFET technology, the power loss is a lot lower than with the large standard alternator. The engine revs faster and is much more agile.
* The alternator only charges correctly above 5000rpm and is therefore only for racetrack use.
Speedbox short 6 gear for all KTM 790 & 890 engines
In order to keep the engine speed low while riding on the motorway, the standard transmission of the 890 KTM engines is equipped with a very long 6-speed. This is very annoying on the race track, the engine can not reach maximum reves while using the 6 gear.
The Speedbox gear pair for the 6. gear is shorter and allows the 6. gear to be fully utilized. This means better acceleration with more top speed.
The gears made of highly tempered steel are surface-compacted and polished. Which results in a lower friction loss than the series counterpart.
The parts can be installed in the standard gearbox without any modification.

Speedbox oil radiator kit for KTM 890 engines
Like most engines of the latest generation, the KTM 890 engine runs under very high thermal loads on the race track. When used on the racetrack, the oil temperature is considerably higher than the water temperature. For this reason, the heat exchanger installed as standard continues to heat up the cooling water with the hot oil.
The Speedbox oil cooler kit completely separates the water from the oil thermal balance.
The heat exchanger installed as standard is replaced by a racing oil cooler
This guarantees lower oil and water temperatures, which brings more durability and more performance through lower engine temperatures.
The kit includes all parts for a plug and play assembly consisting of:

1x supply hose with aluminum connections Dash6
1x feedback hose with aluminum connections Dash6
1x CNC machined radiator mount
1x hand-welded racing oil cooler

Speedbox large waterpump for KTM 8907790 engines
The Speedbox Racing water pump delivers more flow even at lower speeds and is improving the efficiency of the cooling system.
Recommended for racing and road use.

Speedbox Upgrade kit Airbox 2022
Bring your Kramer GP2-R up to the latest performance level.
With the air-guided air box and the large foam filter, more cool air is supplied to the engine, which has a positive effect on performance.
In combination with the short intake funnels, included in the kit, an increase in performance of approx. 2 hp at 7,500 rpm is achived.
Cleaning and servicing are easier with the new version.
